CAPITAL OF SABAH - KOTA KINABALU

Kota Kinabalu better known as KK is capital of Sabah, Kota Kinabalu, formerly known as Jesselton, is the capital of Sabah, located in east Malaysia. Kota Kinabalu is located on the west coast of Borneo facing the South China Sea. Mount Kinabalu, which gave the city its name, is nearby KK, while the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, wild life sanctuary, is located here. Until 2010, Kota Kinabalu has about 452.058 inhabitants and Penampang area that also covers the city has about 176.667 people. If aggregated, the total metro population is 628.725.

Kota Kinabalu is also one of the very famous tourist destination with beautiful flora and fauna, a clean environment, historic sites, places of a break attractive, beautiful islands, and more. Kota Kinabalu is also one of the major commercial and industrial center in East Malaysia. Both of these factors make Kota Kinabalu as one of the fastest growing cities in Malaysia.

Kota Kinabalu is also equipped with facilities such as hospitals police stations, schools, shopping centers, banks, and many other facilities provided by the government and private sectors. In addition, facilities that attract the attention of both local and foreign tourists are the train system.
